It's a large-volume pre-mixed that's loaded with the essence associated with festive period, which makes it ideal for a holiday party. Any leftover cordial to use in breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make more rounds of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Combine the listed components inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring to dissolve. Then, take off the burner and leave to cool fully. Pour into an sealable bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for around one month.
For the Cocktail Base: Pour the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, let it rest for one hour, then filter it , ideally through cheesecloth, so it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml of your premix into a cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir gently for one minute to chill. Pour into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the drink.
